How often we wish for

our mistakes and change failure into winning
And it does not take
a special time to make a brand new start
It only takes a deep
desire to try with all our hearts
To live a little better
and always be forgiving
And to add a little
sunshine to the world in which we're living
So never give up in
despair and think that you are through
For there's always tomorrow

When someone does a
kindness
it always seems to me
That's the way God up
in heaven
would like us all to
be.
For when we bring some
pleasure
to another human heart,
We have followed in
his footsteps
and we've had a little
part
In serving him who loves
us--
for I am very sure it
is true
That is serving those
around us
We serve and please
him , too.

SURE WAY TO HAPPY DAY
Happiness is something
we create in our mind,
It's not something you
search for and so seldom find-
It's just waking up
and beginning the day by counting
our blessings and kneeling
to pray-
It's giving up thoughts
that breed discontent and
accepting what comes
as a gift heaven sent-
It's giving up wishes
for things we have not and
making the best of whatever
we've got-
It's knowing that life
is determined for us,
and pursuing our task
without fret, fume, or fuss-
For it's by completing
what God gives us to do,
That we find real contentment
and happiness, too.
